Discussion Groups “Towards a Lasting Peace”
Our Discussion Group meets monthly with the exception of the Holiday periods.
We have titled this series ” Towards a Lasting Peace” as we use this process to explore ways we as members of our local communities can grow to understand culture thats is not from our own tradition and also find healing through discussion to help move on from the past.
This group meets to discuss various topics that are relevant to their lives and communities. Each time we meet we have a different topic and we invite a speaker or facilitator will skills in the area to be discussed. The topics range from community to personal to religion all in a spirit of sharing and learning. This is a very committed, friendly and lively group with about 24 people meeting each time.
New members (no matter what your background) are always welcome to the group.
