Youth 15+ (Cross– Border)
We currently have a group of almost 20 young people working with us made up with young people from Riverstown & Brookeborough.
This group aims to provide the young people with a healthy attitude towards difference and the ability to identify sectarianism and have the courage to try to speak out. We do this through a series of workshops, Team Building and educational tours.
This year the group are working on a support website aimed at providing quality information and direction to services for young people. Our Current group have also visited Stormont and are invited to meet with President Higgins in May 2012, on that day they will also visit the Dail, see it in session and meet some of the politicians.
While this group works hard they also have great fun through team building days & activities.
